VEEP COLA FROM COCA COLA, NICE EMBOSSED METAL SIGN STOUT SIGN CO 27 3/4 X 12
"Veep" was a lemon and lime soda that Coca-Cola introduced in 1922. It was taken off the market in 1961 when Coke introduced Sprite. This authentic heavy embossed metal sign was made by the Stout Sign Company St. Louis Missouri. The colors are strong and it has an unusual and striking graphic presentation. This particular "Veep" sign is very scarce! This sign has not been touched up whatsoever but it does show cosmetic wear as shown in the detailed pictures.Circa 1940-1960, dimensions 27 3/4â? x 12â?. The convention took place in Miami, Florida celebrating both the company's engineering department and the company's 75th anniversary.The bottle is made of the Coca-Cola green glass and is in excellent condition. There is little to no wear. The graphics are absolutely pristine! No noticeable scratches on them. The colors are bright and crisp. Please see pictures.There is a light line of wear (or dirt?) near one of the seam lines. The stopper moves and holds its seal well. eBay This is an amazing, rare collection of press kit folders from the 1964-65 New York World's Fair.Actual date on one press kit is 1961, since these were distributed a few years before the Coca-Cola Pavilion and the New York World's fair was still in planning construction stages. Other then the postcard and matchbook, none of these materials were given out to the general public. These were distributed to newspapers, TV-Radio stations and other media-public relations to get the word out ahead of time. This collection consists of two different press kit folders that were filled with brochures, fold-out newsletters, black & white press photos, sample matchbook, postcard as well as a postcard order form, sample coupon, full color magazine ad, and other materials shown Condition: most in great condition with minimal wear, some writing on back of one brochure as shown. Photos had accompanying caption-typed notes, also included.Again, this is a rare collection not distributed to the public.Items will be mailed inside of a padded envelope with stiff cardboard to ensure safe delivery. Coca-Cola Vintage Original Metal Advertising Sign, early 1960s, very nice.
eBay Coke Sign, "ICE COLD Coca-Cola" Vintage Original Metal Advertising Sign, c.1961, pre-owned. "Enjoy that refreshing new feeling" is the ad slogan. features illustration of bottle with ACL white logo. The original sign shows all its elements very nicely. No fade of colors. No rust. Nice and straight, without dents or creases in the sheet metal. Mounting holes are from manufacturer with no extra nail holes punched. Only minor scratching, chips and wear, mainly along the embossed border area. The mid-century graphics are nice. The enamel paint still has original sheen --- no oxidation of paint from weather. Undoubtedly displayed indoors. Dimensions are 19.75" x 27.75", horizontal orientation. The sign has lettered in bottom corners "007" and "M.C.A 2033". The mid-century graphics are nice.
