It is solid metal and has some surface rust but NO rust holes.<br />BUYERS PLEASE NOTE: This is an original sign that is almost 70 years old. It has scratches, scuffs and surface rust consistent with a sign of this age. Please look carefully at the photos and ask questions before you bid. The sign is being sold AS-IS and RETURNS BASED ON THE CONDITION
