Vintage Coca Cola Sign With Boy 8” X 10” Metal Frame 1948 Exterior Mounted

I purchased this sign from the owner of Butlers Liquors, Joe Leonard when he took it down from the roof top of his store. This was downtown Santa Cruz, a mile from the beach circa 1976. This is a piece of history in so many ways. I assume, as noted in the photos, AMIO-48 means that it was done in 1948 and AMIO refers to who ever produced it. The address of the store for shipping purposes (to Santa Cruz) and the address and or location of where it left are on the back.The areas on the sign in the other two photos are the extent of the areas that have visibly altered surfaces. One is from motor oil and the other I am not sure. Of course, 28 years in salt air (the liquor store was about a mile from the beach) and 43years of various storage locations has caused fading. Still, unless one of these has been restored, I have not found any others that are available and as good condition wise.. (Condition: Pre-Owned)
