SOLD $250.00 Sold: Jan 16, 2024 on eBayOriginal Listing Description
eBay Biedenharn Candy Company, Vicksburg, MISS, Coca Cola aqua crown top 1900s bottleBuyer gets ONE bottle. US shipping only.Joseph Biedenharn is believed to be the first bottler of Coca-Cola in 1894 in Vicksburg, Mississippi. He started off with Hutchinson bottles, and switched over to crown top bottles a little after 1900. This bottle is a Biedenharn Candy Co, Vicksburg, MISS aqua crown top bottle (1900-1910). 8 & 1/2 inches tall. Large B (for Biedenharn) on the bottom. Along the lower heel of the bottle is embossed 10, ROOT, and looks like 225. Root Glass Company was the glass manufacturer of this bottle. They created straight sided bottles for many Coca-Cola franchises. This is a handsome and very sought-after bottle! These Biedenharns often have damage, but this one is structurally sound with no chips or cracks. Some cool-looking bubbles, also elongated bubbles in the neck and top. There are some external scuffs on the bottle, as well as some exterior and interior haziness, but not a big distraction. An easy $10 tumble would make this a sparkling-good example, if that is your choice. I took many indoor and outdoor photos so you can view it's condition. Please consider the photos a large part of this description Great piece of Coca-Cola and Mississippi history! No refunds. Please pay within 3 days (per ebay rules), and I will ship within 3 days of receipt of payment (also per ebay rules), but I usually get it out the next day. Will ship with USPS.
