Up for sale here is an early hand blown crown top VERY SCARCE copy cat Coca-Cola soda bottle, from the Allegheny County city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This bottler was located in the "South Side" area. The "H" was left off in Pittsburgh on the bottle. This very scarce nice amber colored example is in excellent condition, and has seen barely any wear. The old glass is sparkling clean, with no chips, pings or dings. See pictures, as they tell the best story. Bottle would date from about 1905 to 1910. *It is boldly embossed, as it reads ~ "Trade / MY-COCA / Mark / Registered / J. WEILERSBACHER / BOTTLER / PITTSBURG, S.S.PA." On the base it is boldly embossed ~ "Sun Pop". Then on the lower reverse heel it reads, with the Pittsburgh, Pa. glass house initials ~ "D.O.C. 1072". This tooled crown top measures 8 inches tall, and 2 1/4 inches in diameter. You will be pleased with this piece of soda pop bottling history, from the state of Pennsylvania. RARE AS IT GETS !!
