Vintage Coca Cola Fountain Service Porcelain Sign Coke 1940’s

This vintage porcelain sign is in EXCELLENT condition and may be one of the nicest versions of this sign that I’ve ever seen on eBay or in my years of collecting. This thing shines like the day it was made. There isn’t a single chip in the porcelain and all of the original grommets are intact. These fountain service signs were on the thinner side as far as porcelain signs go, so the edges were susceptible to rusting. This sign does have very light rusting just along the edges, but other than that, and a couple slight surface scratches, this sign would be mint. The back of the sign has some paint along the top edge with a couple of drips or runs that I never bothered to remove, as I feel they are part of the patina.Sign measure approximately 29” x 11 3/4”. This sign is AUTHENTIC and is not a reproduction. I bought this sign just about 40 years ago at auction and it was one of the first signs I ever purchased before embarking on many years of sign collecting. This is a beautiful sign and I hate to see it go, but I feel it’s time to slowly start thinning my collection and allow others to enjoy it. Please ask any questions. Thanks for looking!
