Vtg Original DRINK COCA COLA Celluloid Plastic, Cardboard Back Button Sign 10”

This item is a 10 inch diameter, early “drink Coca-Cola“ celluloid button sign with a cardboard back. It is in very good condition with a few scuffs on the front, and some staining on the back. Please see photos for condition.This sign was made by Mirro Products, as printed on the back.Part of the back, opens up to make a stand as opposed to hanging it on a wall. There is a little satin cord to hang it from if while hanging is desired. I believe this is one of the older button signs, and I do not see another one for sale or having been sold on the Internet. This leads me to believe there probably aren’t many of these left or that they are not in very good condition. As I mentioned prior, there are some scrapes in the paint, which might even be manufacturer defects. But the dome has not been dinged or dented. I obtained this item from the estate of a serious collector who went to great lengths to find unique soda items that were in very good condition. I have either currently listed or will be listing soon a number of soda fountain advertising items. Among these items are a Coca-Cola chalkboard sign, an Orange Crush thermometer, a Vernor’s bottlecap lighted clock, a Vernor’s door kickplate sign, and two Bell Telephone signs.
