Vintage 1930s Die Cut Two Tone Green Yellow Drink Coca Cola Wood Sign Fleischman
Vintage 1930s Die Cut Two Tone Green Yellow Drink Coca Cola Wood Sign Fleischman
SOLD $511.00 Sold: Jul 7, 2024 on eBayOriginal Listing Description
This is a 1930s era Drink Coca Cola wood sign. It is not a reproduction. It was made by Fleischman Art Inc. It shows a New York address. It is no longer in business. This was probably a custom made piece for a local business. I have seen other wood signs from the 1930s that were made by this company. These wood cut signs seem to have been a specialty of theirs. It is 21 inches long, 7 inches tall, and 3/8 inch deep. It shows signs of wear. There is separation between the layers, on the first C and I show a photo. The trademark lettering has wood and paint loss on the word "Reg".The edge of the Cola swoop has been knocked and is not smooth. The edge of the "a" below has a little scrape on the edge as well. Looks like it was dropped and it lost some of the wood off the edge. It looks like it may have been part of a larger sign. I have not been able to find any other signs like this one and it may be one of a kind. My main focus of interest is vintage clothing. I sell all my vintage fashion on my other ebay store, which you can check out at whatdianelikesvintage I have well over 4,000 positive feedback reviews and a 100% top seller rating. I am always out there, shopping and running across things that are cool and of interest. I decided to create a second ebay ID to sell all the non clothing items I can't pass up. There is a lot of great stuff out there and I like a lot of different eras and categories! You should find a wide variety of fun and interesting items in this store. (Condition: Pre-Owned)
Note: This item has been sold and is no longer available. This page serves as a historical price reference for Coca Cola collectors and appraisers.
