Rare and original, 1920 Coca-Cola Celluloid Advertising Pocket Mirror in excellent to near mint, original condition featuring a beautiful young woman and a view of a golf course and golfers in the background. This fantastic, mirror measures approx. 1 3/4” x 2 3/4” and features a portrait of a beautiful young woman wearing a gauzy yellow dress and holding a classic, 10 ounce bottle of Coca-Cola. Behind her we see the grounds of a golf course and a male and a female golfer "teeing off". Text on the mirror reads simply "Drink Coca-Cola" and the mirror carries the mark of the manufacturer - Bastian Brothers of Rochester, New York. The corresponding, 1920 Coke Tray which uses the same image is known to collectors as the "Golfer Girl" Tray This outstanding 1920 Coca-Cola Advertising Mirror is unconditionally guaranteed to be an original 1920 Coca-Cola Pocket Mirror and is NOT a reproduction, reissue, reprint or recent piece - it was manufactured and distributed in 1920 by the Coca-Cola Company. This 1920 Coke Advertising Mirror is in excellent to near mint condition. The surface is intact and sound and the colors are bright and vibrant and there are no cracks, chips, scratches, crazing or physical damage to the celluloid of any kind. There is absolutely no foxing, staining, discoloration or fading to the celluloid surface. The mirror back does have some small spots of loss to the silver backing as can be seen in the scan below.
