Coca-Cola 1970s Test Market Plastic Bottle! This is another rare one to find. I was told by Tom Smith-Soda Museum owner-curator, that this was test marketed in select cities in the early 1970s. This has a unique pop top ring lid attached. There is liquid residue inside. Bottle measures 5-1/2" tall. Plastic-wrapped casing. 10 Fl Oz.I posted this on a Coca-Cola Collectors Facebook group and someone commented this: The plastic versions were made between 1971-1972 on an experimental machine at the Levis Park Developmental Center. This was called the GCP Project (Glass Composite Package).This will be bubble-wrapped and mailed inside of a well-padded box to ensure safe delivery.
