COCA COLA Straight Sided Ringneck Bottle - Macon, Georgia - 1910
COCA COLA Straight Sided Ringneck Bottle - Macon, Georgia - 1910
SOLD $99.00 Sold: Mar 10, 2025 on eBayOriginal Listing Description
Coca Cola bottlers had a lot of room when styling these early straight sided bottles starting in 1903-1916. The straight sided bottles first started with the green straight sided bottles in 1903 and both ran until 1916 when Coca Cola started making, and required the bottler to use, the familiar Hobbleskirt bottles. This bottler was one of the first to bottle Coca Cola. This bottle was first bottled by the "Coca Cola Bottling Co. of Macon, Ga.", as it states on the bottom edge of this bottle. This bottle features the beautiful characteristics of the old bottles, internal bubbles, fissures, and uneven bottom common with the primitive manufacturing process of the day. On the heel of this bottle is "Coca Cola" in script, and Bottling Co. This bottle features the rare ringneck near the mouth of the bottle. The bottle is about 125 years old. The fairly clear green bottle is beautiful with no chips or cracks. However, it does have some lines of case wear around the belly and general wear, as seen in my pictures. Nice, rare bottle for the price. Shipping for this rare find will be only $9.00 anywhere in the U.S. for 2-4 day mail. If you purchase another of my many asst. bottles, I will ship it FREE with this one. (Condition: Pre-Owned)
