Coca-Cola: Rare Antique 1904 Calendar “Lillian Nordica, Red Artwork” Unframed

Sold on eBay October 8th, 2023

Coca-Cola: Rare Antique 1904 Calendar “Lillian Nordica, Red Artwork” Unframed

Coca-Cola: Rare Antique 1904 Calendar “Lillian Nordica, Red Artwork” Unframed Important and scarce 1904 cardboard advertising calendar for Coca-Cola, featuring famous opera star Lillian Nordica, along with original period 1903/1904 tear sheets. Lillian Nordica graces this 1904 calendar and captures the elegance of the time period while selling Coca-Cola (note: table stenciled with “Delicious Refreshing”); clearly depicting both the logo and sign for Coca-Cola. Published by Wolf & Co. Philadelphia The calendar is in very good condition and includes an original period, loose 1903 July tear sheet, along with additional attached tear sheets at bottom dating from August 1903 through June 1904. Inclusive is the final back tear sheet showing the entire year of 1904 by months, which has several areas of chipping, brittleness, and page browning. Nail hole at bottom goes through all sheets. As for the combination of years, it’s been suggested that someone could have subsequently placed the earlier pad on this calendar artwork for display or sales purposes at some point in time. There is some very minor chipping along borders, slight crease on upper left corner and center, partial upper right corner missing, some spotting, and overall age toning which has dulled some of the vibrancy of the lithograph. I am not an expert by any means and am selling this item “as is”, so please review all photos and ask questions prior to bidding. Size: 15-1/2 X 7-7/8” Certainly, this will be your opportunity to own this lovely example of a rare Coca-Cola calendar! On Oct-02-23 at 07:20:16 PDT, seller added the following ASK ALL QUESTIONS PRIOR TO FRIDAY, OCTOBER 6TH, AS I WILL BE UNAVAILABLE AFTERWARDS THROUGH AUCTION END! HAPPY BIDDING! (Condition: Pre-Owned)
COCA-COLA COKE 1950s WOOD TRUCK PANEL SIGN SODA BOTTLE CAP SPRITE BOY

Sold on eBay May 4th, 2025

COCA-COLA COKE 1950s WOOD TRUCK PANEL SIGN SODA BOTTLE CAP SPRITE BOY

COCA-COLA COKE 1950s WOOD TRUCK PANEL SIGN SODA BOTTLE CAP KID ONE OF A KIND. Quite large- Frame measures 38 X 52 1/2", and the inside of the frame measures 33 X 48". The sign is painted wood- and the illustration and lettering are actually decals. Came from a local estate and I was told this was originally from the side panel of a coke delivery truck from the Philadelphia PA bottling plant. The driver had an accident and wrecked the truck and they let him keep this from it. It has a few light scuffs and scratches here and there, and a dark line on the right as you can see. The illustration has some age wear mostly visible in the bow tie. It's in really nice shape for being made of wood and from the outside of a truck. Even the frame looks old the guy probably framed it as soon as he brought it home back then. Comes as seen in photos. Really nice original Coca-Cola sign! (Condition: Pre-Owned)

The Declaration of Independence, reverently preserved by our Nation, is one of the world's great documents because it proclaims, boldly and eloquently, those principles of Freedom, Tolerance and Justice which are inherent in the souls of decent men. It is a bold declaration of Freedom – the motivating force that impelled men to sever beloved ties, to brave treacherous seas in frail craft, to take root in unknown lands It is the declaration of Faith by men who dared to die that Religious and Civil Liberty might live... men like Patrick Henry, who said, “Give me Liberty, or give me Death.” On June 7, 1776, Richard Henry Lee introduced a resolution in the Continental Congress that “These United Colonies are, and of right ought to be, Free and Independent States.” A committee of five, of which Thomas Jefferson was Chairman, was appointed to draw up the Declaration. This draft was presented to Congress on June 28. The resolution as debated until July 4, 1776, when it was adopted. From the tower of Independence Hall, in Philadelphia, the Liberty Bell pealed forth the message which was inscribed on it. “Proclaim Liberty throughout the land unto all the inhabitants thereof” The echoes of that bell ever since have resounded throughout the broad expanse of our great and free nation. On July 19, 1776, the Continental Congress ordered the Declaration to be engrossed on parchment, and this is the exact reproduction of the original which was signed by the members on August 2, 1776, and, of the parchment as it appears today. This immortal document, which is the essence of Americanism, sets forth the triune foundation of our country. LIBERTY, EQUALITY of opportunity, and JUSTICE”... principles which will be perpetuated forever in the hearts of all true Americans. This faithful restoration of American's greatest document is the creation of Theodore W. Ohman, of Memphis, Tennessee, originator of the detail relief maps in lithography, whose work in documentary reproductions has received national acclaim. This lithograph will appeal to lovers of American History as well as collectors of Coca-Cola advertising memorabilia.
