Vintage 1950's Cavalier Corp CS-72-B Coca-Cola Vending Machine - Restored
Per our grading of this item, it is equivalent to the TCA rating of R-4: Very Good -- Restored to a general high standard. However, noticeable differences exist particularly with respect to the color, finish, and texture of paint when compared to an original piece. Original bottles are included inside the machine with the contents stills inside the bottles. The contents of the original bottle are expired, and not meant for consumption. The machine has been previously restored and displays much of the original printing and signage very clearly. The outer body does show scuffing and light scratches, but ultimately retains a fantastic aesthetic appeal. The instruction manual is not included. This vintage Coca-Cola vending machine was produced by Cavalier Corp for a limited production run dating from 1957 - 1959. Roughly less than 20,000 machines were produced during the 2 year stretch with this machine being part of the "B” series mid production run. This vending machine has a 72 bottle capacity holding up to 72 6oz bottles at full capacity and 12oz bottles at fewer capacities, with a 17-bottle pre-cool feature as well. Being one of the first machines to offer a glass door display, this vending machine was an instant hit and highly desirable amongst vendors and collectors alike. This machine was one of the last few round-top models produced before the square top would become the new industry standard. Vintage Original 1950s Sign Of Good Taste Coca Cola With 1st Black couple and Child. The woman model in this poster is Mary Alexander who was chosen from a promotion of many women ,, Mary Alexander went on to become the face of Coca Cola.. and quite famous.. Google her name and you can read all about her. The man that is in the poster I believe was a football player. Ebony magazine put out an issue in 1948 In search of Brown "huskers" to boost the coca cola movement. From there Coca Cola researched the demographics etc and found Mary Alexander to be it. There is a lot of history behind this poster ad. Believed to be the first to promote coca cola using African American couple and child and it worked. This poster Is on heavy board believed to be an original. I do not see any signs it could be a print. This was an estate purchase I can't figure out how to get it back Into that frame. However, the frame is included. It is hard to put a price tag on such history , there are no others out there to compare it to,.,. just others with the usual Caucasian woman with a high $ price tag.. I will be listing some great vintage and antique soda advertising from an estate collection. Several nice Coca-Cola, Dr. Pepper and 7-Up signs. All are fresh to the market.Up for sale is an original antique/vintage new old stock/deadstock unused Coca-Cola "Yes Girl" soda fountain cardboard lithograph advertising sign dating from 1946. Marked in the lower corners. Features girl in a bathing suit being handed a Coke bottle. The sign is in excellent vintage condition. No holes, no scratches, no water damage, no crease, no tears, no folds and no fading. Light yellow spot form an old inventory tag located near the bottle and is tough to notice. Wanted to mention but is no major deal and might clean off. The color is excellent. Measures approx. 27" by 11 1/4". Being sold as found and as seen in the detailed photos. Coca Cola 1982 Huffy Bicycle Beach Cruiser with Original Lechmere Store Tag 26"
Vintage 1982 Huffy Coca Cola Classic bicycle purchased from Lechmere with original hanging store tag, retailed for $149.99 at the time of purchase. It is in all original condition, tires show age crazing to the sidewall but looking at the tread they appear to have been unridden. The bike shows some light signs of storage wear and the foam grips are starting to deteriorate from age but this is about as clean of an example you are going to find unless you find one in the original box. PLEASE NOTE - HANDLE BARS, PEDALS AND FRONT WHEEL (and possibly front fender) WILL BE REMOVED FOR SHIPPING! Vintage original movie posters were normally printed in very limited quantities, thus they are rarer. All of them were not meant to be saved. After their initial use they were supposed to be returned to the studio or destroyed Authentic original movie posters usually contain an NSS information tag/paragraph and number. However, this is not always true. There are plenty of original movie posters that do not contain NSS info. To complicate matters, just because a poster has an NSS tagline, NSS number, and a GAU (printer's union) logo, does not necessarily mean it is an original movie poster. There are many fakes and reprints that have this printed on them to make them appear more authentic. Studio (non NSS) issued posters: Considered original. These were a different print run at the time of the films initial release often printed directly for or by the studio for promotion and as giveaways to industry insiders. Not necessarily for use in an actual theater, but sometimes they did make their way there. May differ slightly or be exactly the same as the NSS printing (except for NSS tag and number at the bottom). In many cases these are rarer than the NSS issued poster. Common standard sizes include: One Sheet 27"x41" or 27"x40", Insert 14"x36", Half Sheet 22"x28", Three Sheet 41"x81", Lobby Card 11"x14", Window Card 14"x22". Measurements on these can vary slightly, but usually by no more than a half inch or so. ADVANCE (ADV): Issued well in advance (usually many months) of a film's release. Usually a one sheet. Very often similar to the regular issue but with an added line of text like "Coming This Christmas". TEASER (TSR): Issued before a film is released. Usually a one sheet. Designed to pique interest "teasing" by showing very little. Very often contains plain text or a single picture without text. Usually rarer than the regular issues. INTERNATIONAL STYLE (INTL): A poster made in the U.S. for international use. Often featuring different artwork, but sometimes they use almost the same exact artwork/design. Sometimes the artwork/photos are more risque and sometimes they feature an alternate title. Usually lacks a RATING (G, PG, or R) because foreign countries do not use the U.S. movie ratings system. STYLE A,B,C,D: Studios often issued many different styles of one sheets for the same movie. They still do. To differentiate them they were often marked as Style A or Style B etc. DOUBLE-SIDED (DS): In the early 1990's some studios started issuing movie posters that were printed on both sides. This process makes the poster stand out more in a theater light box display. Today, most posters are printed with single sided and double sided versions. RE-RELEASE (RR): Re-release or reissue posters are original theater used movie posters, but have considerably lesser value than a first release poster. Most often you can determine a reissue by looking at the bottom of your poster in the right hand corner. There will usually be an R in front of a year number as in R56 if it is a reissue. Other clues are phrases such as "An Encore Hit", "Brought Back by Popular Demand or Nothing Cut But the Prices. TRI-FOLDED: A poster with three machine fold horizontal foldlines but no vertical machine foldline. Selling this Vintage Rushton Company African American Coca Cola Santa Plush Doll. These are Rare and HTF. Measures 18" from tip of hat to sole of shoes. White rubber shoes have the Rushton Co. Copyright seal on the heels. Rubber face, hands and shoes. Red plush suit and hat with white "fur" trim. Black vinyl belt is attached to the "skirt" that gives the appearance of a jacket. Rushton tag is sewn to the doll's right side seam beneath the "skirt" of the jacket. Coca Cola bottle is in his hand - does not have a cap to the "bottle". From the Rushton Company of Atlanta, GA. He is tagged on his body and marked on his boots. The Rushton company made plush toys with rubber faces from the 1950s - 1960s. He measures approximately 18" tall that includes the pom-pom on his hat. He is in a red suit with white boots. He is in very good vintage condition with some minor flaws from display and storage. The white plush/fur areas have some minor darkening. His boots have some scuff marks and dings. Otherwise the red areas of his suit look nice. 1930s VINTAGE COCA COLA ICE CHEST COOLER. Needs Work.
One short side panel is missing, the other has been painted. One long panel is rough and the other has been painted. Indont know why the painted over the panels, it's tragic really. Somebody can restore this piece. I hope so, it's really awesome in spite of everything. Flip top lid is in great condition. Little rust starting in the cooler. Original tag still on the frame. I will take the frame apart for shipping. Will need new bolts and nuts, they are rusted and painted so... (Condition: Pre-Owned)
