Vintage 1950's Cavalier Corp CS-72-B Coca-Cola Vending Machine - Restored
Per our grading of this item, it is equivalent to the TCA rating of R-4: Very Good -- Restored to a general high standard. However, noticeable differences exist particularly with respect to the color, finish, and texture of paint when compared to an original piece. Original bottles are included inside the machine with the contents stills inside the bottles. The contents of the original bottle are expired, and not meant for consumption. The machine has been previously restored and displays much of the original printing and signage very clearly. The outer body does show scuffing and light scratches, but ultimately retains a fantastic aesthetic appeal. The instruction manual is not included. This vintage Coca-Cola vending machine was produced by Cavalier Corp for a limited production run dating from 1957 - 1959. Roughly less than 20,000 machines were produced during the 2 year stretch with this machine being part of the "B” series mid production run. This vending machine has a 72 bottle capacity holding up to 72 6oz bottles at full capacity and 12oz bottles at fewer capacities, with a 17-bottle pre-cool feature as well. Being one of the first machines to offer a glass door display, this vending machine was an instant hit and highly desirable amongst vendors and collectors alike. This machine was one of the last few round-top models produced before the square top would become the new industry standard. eBay This is a seldomly seen and RARE Antique Coca Cola Charlie McCarthy CBS Advertisement Banner Sign, screen-printed on cotton canvas, advertising both Coca-Cola and the Edgar Bergen with Charlie McCarthy Radio show, which was sponsored by Coca-Cola beginning in 1949. Bergen and McCarthy promoted Coca-Cola in both CBS radio programs and print ads until 1952. The first ever Coca-Cola radio commercial was heard during the Charlie McCarthy Show. This piece reads: "Coca-Cola brings you Edgar Bergen with Charlie McCarthy Sunday Evenings...Tune in KNX - 5:00 P.M." These banners are very rare and pop up on the market about once every 20 years or so. Collectors do not want to part with them, and very few have survived intact. Only one other example is known to exist. Approximately 42 1/2 x 60 1/4 inches (including frame.) Actual visible artwork is approximately 40 1/2 x 58 1/2 inches. Good - Fair condition for 70+ years of age, display usage, and storage, with some small tears to the canvas, scuffs, and areas of soiling (please see photos.) The contemporary custom wooden frame has some chipping, hairline cracks, and edge wear. Considering that this advertisement is on canvas, these condition issues could be addressed by a tactful Art Restorer. Acquired from an old sign collection in Los Angeles County, California. The Edgar Bergman show was a ventriloquist radio show debuted in 1937 on the Chase and Sanborn Hour. In 1949 the show, now called the Charlie McCarthy Show, adopted Coca-Cola as their sponsor and Bergen and McCarthy promoted it on the radio and in print ads until 1952. The first ever Coca-Cola radio commercial was heard during the Charlie McCarthy Show. The sale was led by an original oil painting featuring radio stars Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy checking out a cooler full of Coca-Cola from 1949. This artwork was used in numerous company advertisements and also prominently featured on the back cover of an issue of National Geographic in 1950, attributed to Haddon Sundblum. The artwork opened at $18,000 and shot to a final price of $53,680. Rare Coca Cola Radio Bottle
eBay Well I believe a few of these were made for Coca Cola execs back in the 1970s. It’s 24 by 8 and has a working analog radio. You have to search for a good music channel unlike digital tracking of today. Definitely 1970s technology. I think this piece is super special in many ways. Just gazing at it is amazing. I got it in LA years ago and just taking it through LAX caused many people to look at it. I also brought to a flea market years ago and also drew lots of attention. 1950's original vintage Coca-Cola lighted Metal advertising clock that came out of the coliseum state fair grounds before it changed over to the Pepsi Coliseum. Everything works perfectly. Small piece missing in the bottom right hand corner where it says "time". Vintage Original 1950s Sign Of Good Taste Coca Cola With 1st Black couple and Child. The woman model in this poster is Mary Alexander who was chosen from a promotion of many women ,, Mary Alexander went on to become the face of Coca Cola.. and quite famous.. Google her name and you can read all about her. The man that is in the poster I believe was a football player. Ebony magazine put out an issue in 1948 In search of Brown "huskers" to boost the coca cola movement. From there Coca Cola researched the demographics etc and found Mary Alexander to be it. There is a lot of history behind this poster ad. Believed to be the first to promote coca cola using African American couple and child and it worked. This poster Is on heavy board believed to be an original. I do not see any signs it could be a print. This was an estate purchase I can't figure out how to get it back Into that frame. However, the frame is included. It is hard to put a price tag on such history , there are no others out there to compare it to,.,. just others with the usual Caucasian woman with a high $ price tag.. This is a vintage porcelain COCA-COLA bottle cap sign. It measures approx. 24" in diameter and looks outstanding. Does have a some small swirl marks or scratches here and there...but hardly even noticeable. None of its flaws take away from its ability to look great. Still has good/unfaded color to it. The back side looks good also as shown. Check out the pictures for the best description. Not in mint condition but it'd be hard to upgrade from this one. Coca Cola TGBWC 1963 Diamond Can SIX Pack Lift Tab + Rare Carton +Original CASE
Auction is for One Lot of a circa 1963 Big Diamond Six Pack Steel Coca Cola Cans all 6 with Dogbone Zip lift Tops ....Condition vary's from fair on the worst can to near excellent + on the nicest can ///The other 4 are in different variations of mostly good -very good + shape. Matching Lift Top Cardboard Case Bottom for the 4 x 6 packs has some bending and wear n tear to it and the Rare Cardboard Carrier Carton has wear n tear but is mostly all there ..Case bottom cardboard and Carton are way hard to find as Most got thrown away after use since there was no return or deposit on these cans, unlike Bottle carriers that were used to return. Two cans still have intact or close to intact zip Tabs and the Nicer one of six has sealed bottom and top. The other has the top tab but is bottom Church Key punch Opened .The other 4 cans have no tabs left but bottoms are all intact. Any Plastic collar shown is not original to the 6 Pack and was used for photo purposes only to hold the cans in place.
