? RARE Antique Coca Cola Charlie McCarthy CBS Advertisement Banner Sign, 1949
eBay This is a seldomly seen and RARE Antique Coca Cola Charlie McCarthy CBS Advertisement Banner Sign, screen-printed on cotton canvas, advertising both Coca-Cola and the Edgar Bergen with Charlie McCarthy Radio show, which was sponsored by Coca-Cola beginning in 1949. Bergen and McCarthy promoted Coca-Cola in both CBS radio programs and print ads until 1952. The first ever Coca-Cola radio commercial was heard during the Charlie McCarthy Show. This piece reads: "Coca-Cola brings you Edgar Bergen with Charlie McCarthy Sunday Evenings...Tune in KNX - 5:00 P.M." These banners are very rare and pop up on the market about once every 20 years or so. Collectors do not want to part with them, and very few have survived intact. Only one other example is known to exist. Approximately 42 1/2 x 60 1/4 inches (including frame.) Actual visible artwork is approximately 40 1/2 x 58 1/2 inches. Good - Fair condition for 70+ years of age, display usage, and storage, with some small tears to the canvas, scuffs, and areas of soiling (please see photos.) The contemporary custom wooden frame has some chipping, hairline cracks, and edge wear. Considering that this advertisement is on canvas, these condition issues could be addressed by a tactful Art Restorer. Acquired from an old sign collection in Los Angeles County, California. Due to the large size of this piece, S&H costs will be unavoidably high. However, Free Local Pickup from Los Angeles County, California is also an option. The Edgar Bergman show was a ventriloquist radio show debuted in 1937 on the Chase and Sanborn Hour. In 1949 the show, now called the Charlie McCarthy Show, adopted Coca-Cola as their sponsor and Bergen and McCarthy promoted it on the radio and in print ads until 1952. The first ever Coca-Cola radio commercial was heard during the Charlie McCarthy Show. The sale was led by an original oil painting featuring radio stars Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy checking out a cooler full of Coca-Cola from 1949. This artwork was used in numerous company advertisements and also prominently featured on the back cover of an issue of National Geographic in 1950, attributed to Haddon Sundblum. The artwork opened at $18,000 and shot to a final price of $53,680. It fell to the bidding number wielded by Ted Ryan and Justine Fletcher, who were in the gallery representing the famous Atlanta headquartered company’s archive department. (Condition: Pre-Owned)

The gold sets are missing only 3. 4. And 5 because they were sought after and selling up to $250 each They are a subset as well that the set still has 7 subsets left and only if lucky you can get 1 gold card per 2 boxes retail outlets. So very hard to even get one subset. One of the hardest Coca-Cola sets to complete in the history of there cards because there are large sets of 48 and 50. As we were the only master distributor that acquired 85 percent of the sets from scoreboard we had for years as our agreement is we could not sell sets unless out of the country due to the contract between scoreboard and coca colas contract of thier licensing agreement We only started offering them 2 years ago and keeping the pricing affordable but not to crash the market because how hard it was for any US citizen to complete a series (Condition: Pre-Owned)

Vintage Original 1950s Sign Of Good Taste Coca Cola With 1st Black couple and Child. The woman model in this poster is Mary Alexander who was chosen from a promotion of many women ,, Mary Alexander went on to become the face of Coca Cola.. and quite famous.. Google her name and you can read all about her. The man that is in the poster I believe was a football player. Ebony magazine put out an issue in 1948 In search of Brown "huskers" to boost the coca cola movement. From there Coca Cola researched the demographics etc and found Mary Alexander to be it. There is a lot of history behind this poster ad. Believed to be the first to promote coca cola using African American couple and child and it worked. This poster Is on heavy board believed to be an original. I do not see any signs it could be a print. This was an estate purchase I can't figure out how to get it back Into that frame. However, the frame is included. It is hard to put a price tag on such history , there are no others out there to compare it to,.,. just others with the usual Caucasian woman with a high $ price tag.. eBay Unique vintage screen print made for printing on top of vending machines in the 1950s to 1960s. Possibly even earlier. The screen is Preowned in appearance but the letters are all clear with no residual paint. Hung slightly off a wall, “lit by a spotlight (not provided) , this creates a cool shadow on the wall behind it because of the transparency of the letters only. This original, 1922 Coca-Cola Advertising Calendar measures approx. 12” by 30" and is matted for display. eBay Large Vintage 16"x50” Coca Cola Sign/Rolled edge/Hand Painted/Coke inked/print??. This sign has been in our family's business, it is a cream/tan color and has rolled or stamped edges. It seems to be galvanized metal and has been hanging with fishing line/or command strips. The letters and numbers are clearly old school brush painted and the Coke is a print or ink of some kind. ***I'm not an expert and do not claim to be, I know that these things I've acquired are cool and in great shape. This is why im starting the bidding low***** There seems to be tiny identification marks in the corner, but I can't find anything that looks like it online. Rare Coca-Cola's 1942 Lithographic Limited Edition Restoration of the Declaration of Independence by Theodore Ohman in original frame matted and framed under glass. Coca-Cola name on front of Lithograph at bottom as shown in photo. Coca-Cola name shown on original plate on back of frame on the original plate as shown in photos. This piece combines a rare and collectible example of Coca-Cola Advertising with an important collectible example of American History and Americana in Theodore Ohman's real size and most accurate example of this faithful lithographic restoration of our country's Declaration of Independence dating back to 1942. In one more year, 2019, collectible lithograph distributed by Coca-Cola will be 77 years old. New and in perfect condition Steuben hand etched signature on bottom of the bottle “690 1250” The bottle is in Steuben felt bag inside a very own foam packing in Steuben box. The Steuben bottle also comes with the print signed thank you card from Coca-Cola CEO ,Muhtar Kent,Steuben insert book,a white string and an original red Coca-Cola ribbon. The bottle weighs about 2.2 lbs,2.25 inches and7.5 inches tall. This Steuben bottle is in mint condition, has never left the box until photography day.
